LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, March 28, with the Hon. William H. Shaw III presiding.
In the case of William M. Noel of Lancaster, charged with 11 felonies for violating probation, a show cause hearing was scheduled for April 18.
In the case of Molly J. Kane of Kilmarnock, charged with a felony for violating probation, a status hearing was scheduled for April 18.
In the case of Jason M. Verlander of Lancaster, charged with one felony and two misdemeanors for violating probation, a status hearing was scheduled for April 25.
March 21 proceedings
The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, March 21, with the Hon. Ricardo Rigual presiding.
Teresita L. Rich of Lancaster, who previously pleaded guilty to a felony for selling/providing a Schedule I/II substance and given a deferred disposition, was sentenced on an amended felony charge of possession of a Schedule I/II substance. She was given a three-year suspended sentence, three years of probation and ordered to pay $560 in court costs and $120 in restitution.
Shawn M. McDonald of Locust Hill pleaded guilty to a felony for grand larceny and sentenced to 10 years, eight of which were suspended. He also was given five years of probation to begin upon release and ordered to pay $435 in court costs and $4,465.62 in restitution.
McDonald was charged with an additional felony for grand larceny and two misdemeanors for petit larceny. Those charges were nolle prossed.
