LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, July 18, with the Hon. John S. Martin presiding.

Jason T. Spence of Lively pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor for profanity over a public airway and was sentenced to 12 months with six months suspended and 12 months of probation. He also was charged with five additional misdemeanors for profanity over a public airway; a misdemeanor for stalking, fear of assault or death; six misdemeanors for annoying ringing of a phone; and a felony for abduction by force or intimidation. Those charges were nolle prossed.

In the case of Gregory McEachern II of Topping, previously found guilty of felonies for failing to stop at an accident with damage greater than $1,000 and eluding/disregarding police, was given an active sentence of seven years with five years probation for failing to stop at an accident and an active sentence of four years and six months with five years of probation for eluding police. He also was ordered to pay $845 in court costs.

McEachern was found guilty of a misdemeanor for driving while intoxicated (DWI), first offense, blood alcohol content .15-.20%. He was sentenced to 360 days with 355 days suspended and ordered to pay $215 in court costs.

McEachern was further charged with one felony and two misdemeanors for violating probation on previous charges. Probation was revoked and he was sentenced to an additional seven years and four months with six years and 10 months suspended.
