LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, August 22, with the Hon. John S. Martin presiding.
In the case of Kyle L. George Jr. of White Stone, charged with misdemeanors for petit larceny and entering property to commit damage, an arraignment was continued and a status hearing scheduled for October 24.
In the case of Jalin N. Powell of Reedville, charged with felonies for assault on a law enforcement officer, prisoner damage to property to escape, and violating probation, a trial was continued to October 24. Powell also is charged with misdemeanors for indecent exposure and violating probation. A trial on those charges will be held on the same date.
In the case of Blake A. Bundy of Heathsville, previously found guilty of possession of a Schedule I/II substance and given a deferred disposition, the charge was dismissed.
In the case of Richard A. Rose of Weems, given a deferred disposition as a first offender for a felony for obtaining drugs by fraud, the disposition was further deferred to September 26.
