LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, September 19, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
In the case of Trevon L. Henderson of Weems, charged with a felony for strangling with wounds as a result; a misdemeanor for stalking, fear of death or assault; and a misdemeanor for assault and battery of a family member, a trial was scheduled for November 14.
In the case of Calvin F. Taylor III of Kilmarnock, charged with a felony for drug sales on or near a school/library and a felony for manufacturing/distributing a Schedule I/II substance, third-plus offense, a hearing to appoint counsel was continued and a status hearing scheduled for October 24.
In the case of Michelle White Smith of Gloucester, charged with a felony for violating probation, a show cause hearing was scheduled for November 14.
