LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened on February 2, with the Hon. Charles Maxfield presiding.
Lorenzo William Jones Jr. of Richmond was not served on a bench warrant for violation of probation on a felony conviction. The case was continued with no dates attached.
Desiree Genee McGee of Chesapeake did not appear for trial on a felony grand larceny charge. Her attorney said he believed she may be in the hospital. The case was continued to April 6.
Kenyan L. Watson of Chesapeake was issued a bench warrant for his arrest after he failed to appear for trial on a felony grand larceny charge. Trial was continued to April 6.
Amir Rasoul of Kilmarnock entered a plea of “no contest” to a charge of violating a protective order for the third time. He was sentenced to 12 months, all suspended and three years probation. A second similar charge was nolle prosequi.
William M. Noel’s felony charges of distribution of a controlled substance were continued on a motion by the judge. The case was set for April 6.
