LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, May 25. The Hon. J. Michael McKenney presided over the following cases:
Aaron Danyle Beale of Lancaster entered a plea of not guilty to two felony probation violations during arraignment. The case was set for June 8.
Delaina Deanne Cooper of Burgess qualified for a court appointed attorney for three felony probation violation charges. Arraignment was continued to June 22.
Kenneth B. Jackson of Topping was charged with failure to appear on one felony and one misdemeanor probation violation offenses. His case was continued to June 15.
The case against Clifton B. Tomlin of Burgess, charged with one misdemeanor probation violation, was continued to June 15.
Sentencing of Brandon Jeron Curry of Lancaster on a charge of felony distribution of a controlled substance was postponed to August 3, due to a delay in the sentencing report.
Sentencing of Keywon Maquee Gaskins of Kilmarnock on a charge of felony distribution of a controlled substance was postponed to August 17, due to a delay in the sentencing report.
Douglas Randell Broadus of White Stone was arraigned on felony and misdemeanor probation violations. His case was set for August 17.
Joshua Tyler Williams of Mathews, convicted of larceny, asked for homebound electronic monitoring. The case was continued pending discussions with the Middle Peninsula Correctional Facility accepting responsibility for monitoring.
The case against Wanda Gail Dawson of White Stone, charged with felony embezzlement of public funds, was continued after she asked for a new attorney. The case is set for June 22.
Percell Elwood Noel of Heathsville was arraigned on a charge of felony distribution of a controlled substance. Trial will be set June 15.
Kelli Rene Balderson, aka Kelli Rene George, of White Stone was arraigned on a charge of felony distribution of a controlled substance. The case will be set for trial June 8.
Curtis Marcell Mitchell of King George was arraigned on multiple felony charges of distribution of Schedule I/II drugs. Trial was set for August 31.
James William Folan of Lancaster was arraigned on a felony grand larceny charge. A trial date will be set June 8.
Lacey Renea Michalak of Farnham was to be arraigned on felony embezzlement charges. The defendant was unavailable, so arraignment was continued to June 1.
Ernesto Hernandez Moreno of Warsaw was arraigned on felony grand larceny charges. A trial date will be set June 1.
Marquita Shenel Ruff of Kilmarnock was arraigned on a charge of felony embezzlement. Trial was set for August 3.
Marshall T. Smith of Kilmarnock was set for trial on a charge of misdemeanor violation of a protective order. Trial was set for August 17.
The case against Joseph Cox Jr. of Lively, charged with multiple felony probation violations, will be set for trial June 15.
