LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened June 22 with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
The case of Wanda G. Dawson of White Stone, charged with felony embezzlement of public funds, was continued for a jury trial December 20.
The case of Richard Walters of Gloucester, charged with three felony probation violations and two misdemeanor probation violations, was continued to August 17.
The case of Delaina D. Cooper of Burgess, charged with three felony probation violations, was continued to November 9.
Deante V. Jones of Kilmarnock, charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession, pled guilty and was sentenced to 30 days with 30 days suspended.
The case of Samantha R. Ellis of Warsaw, charged with four felony probation violations, was continued to July 27.
The case of William M. Noel, charged with two felonies, including the selling or providing resale of a Schedule I or II drug and manufacturing or distributing a controlled substance, was continued to September 21.
The case of Jonte A. Towles of Lancaster, charged with three felony and one misdemeanor probation violations, was continued to July 13.
The case of Steven Noel of Weems, charged with a felony of object sexual penetration by force, was continued to August 17.
Joshua E. Luckett of Saluda, charged with felony grand larceny, pled guilty and was sentenced to 5 years with 3 years and 10 months suspended.
