LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, October 9, with the Hon. Charles Sharp presiding.
In the case of George W. Gaines of Lancaster, charged with two felonies for driving after being declared a habitual offender, the deferred disposition on the first charge and trial on the second charge were both continued to October 30 because the defendant was unavailable.
In the case of Oriel P. Lee of Reedville, charged with a felony probation violation, a review hearing was continued by defense motion until November 15.
In the case of Phillip E. Dean of White Stone, charged with two counts of felony probation violations, two felonies for failing to complete with conditions of his release, two felonies for third-plus offenses of distributing a Schedule I/II controlled substance, and two felonies for homicide, hearings to set trial dates were continued until October 30.
