Sheridan Ford shot a 38 last Wednesday to lead Lancaster to a win over Essex in a nine-hole match at Hobbs Hole Golf Course in Tappahannock.
Jacob Hudnall shot a 39, Spencer Crittenden, 44, and Roman Cutler, 45, for an LHS team score of 166. Nicklaus Ford and Evan Steensma also played but did not have their scores of 46 and 50, respectively, count in team scoring.
Host Essex finished with a 179 and was led by Tae White who posted the match low score of 37. Hunter Shackleford and Tristan Gross shot a 45 each and Logan Cooke shot a 52. Matt Broche and Owen Hodges also played for the Trojans.
The Devils will play at home today, September 7, against Northumberland. The nine-hole match will start at 4 p.m. at Golden Eagle Golf Course in Irvington.
