LANCASTER—The Lancaster Planning Commission on Thursday, November 13, recommended changes to the residential solar ordinance and comprehensive plan following separate public hearings. The proposed changes will now move to the board of supervisors for approval.
Recommendations for approval came on 6-1 votes. Steve Sorensen, Claudette Henderson, Ty Brent, Tara Booth, Latoy Davenport and Glen Pinn voted in favor. David Chupp voted against.
This was the second hearing on the small-scale solar ordinance. In October, the commission voted to hold an additional hearing after adding a change that would require a special exception for ground-mounted….
