Lancaster planning commission discusses updates to land use maps

LANCASTER—Taking advantage of an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) program addressing future wastewater planning and needs, the Lancaster planning commission on Thursday, September 18, discussed ways to map existing infrastructure and future land use, critical for grant applications.

“Many of the federal and state grants want us to show what we’re proposing is in the comprehensive plan and they want the illustrative maps as well,” said planning and land use director Olivia Hall.
