Superintendent Dan Russell on Tuesday, November 9, announced changes to the Lancaster Middle School (LMS) administrative staff.

Jennifer Eddy will move into the position of LMS principal. Exiting LMS principal Heather Evans will move into a new role of Virginia Preschool Initiative (VPI) administrator and career and technical education (CTE) coordinator.

“Miss Evans has a very diverse background and we have needs getting the preschool open and we’re also required to do some internships with all of our graduates, so it’s a dual role she’ll be serving,” Russell said.

In addition to recognizing the golf team earlier in the meeting, Russell noted the hard work of the division’s student athletes. “Our students on the football team fought hard and hung in there. Our cross country teams finished their regular season as district champions, and girl’s volleyball also made the state tournament,” he said.
