No matter the outcome of a game Tuesday morning at Tracy Stallard Field in Wise County, Lancaster’s Senior League All Star Team has a lot to be proud of after finishing as one of the top two teams in the state.
Lancaster was scheduled to play Tuckahoe Tuesday, July 20, around deadline time. A loss would have knocked the local team out of the double elimination 2021 Virginia State Senior Baseball Tournament. A win would pit the team against Tuckahoe a second time Tuesday night in a winner-take-all match.
Lancaster took a 3-1 record into the championship….
