LANCASTER—Citing rising costs and a larger auditorium requested for community arts events, superintendent Jessica Davis asked the Lancaster board of supervisors on Thursday, November 16, for an additional $15 million appropriation to complete the construction of the new junior/senior high school near Dream Fields.
The board voted 5-0 to hold a public hearing on the budget amendment at the December 14 meeting.
The board previously approved a new construction bond of $63.1 million which was slightly over the $60 million spread over fiscal years 2023-25 in the capital improvement plan.
