In December, hundreds of band students from District XV, stretching from the Northern Neck up through North Stafford, auditioned to be a part of the District XV Senior High Honor Bands.
For the first time in 10 years, students from Lancaster High School auditioned for this event, reported LHS band director Kenny Flester.
