The Northern Neck Master Gardeners (NNMG) recently visited Lancaster Primary School (LPS) for a “Tour and Tasting” event.
Some 119 students along with school staff and teachers took part in the event at the ABC (A Backyard Classroom) Demonstration Garden on the LPS campus, reported Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardener coordinator William A. Bell.
Small groups of students in grades pre-K through 3 were given tours of the ABC Garden by NNMG, said Bell.
NNMG showed students the flowers, vegetables, herbs, and fruit….
