Starting today, March 4, the Lancaster Community Library (LCL), 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock, will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays.
Pandemic protocols for the safety of patrons, staff and volunteers will continue to be in place, said director Alice Cooper. Anyone entering the library is required to wear a face covering. Social distancing of 6 feet or more will be practiced. There will be no in-person programs or classes. Technology support is limited to library services, such as ebooks.
Library visits on Thursdays and Fridays are limited to checking out library materials, shopping at Dee’s Attic Bookstore and using library computers for no more than 30 minutes, said Cooper.
