A Special Evening With…American activist and author Anthony Ray Hinton will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 7, at Lancaster Community Library, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock.
Hinton is an American activist, writer, and author who in 1985 was wrongly convicted of the murders of two fast food employees in Birmingham, Ala., reported library director Alice Cooper.
Despite very little evidence, Hinton was sentenced to death and sat on Alabama’s death row for 28 years….
