
Lancaster Elementary School recently hosted the Center for Online Safety, which provided assemblies for students in grades 4-7 and a workshop for parents on cell phone safety and cyber security.
In the assemblies, students learned about protecting digital reputation, cyberbullying and tools for staying safe online.
In the parent workshop, parents were made aware of the issues with various gaming platforms and social media apps and tools available to help monitor their child’s online activity. Additionally, parents also learned about upcoming legislation aimed at protecting children online.
