Although the weather forecast is calling for possible snow showers early next week, thoughts at area schools are turning to spring sports.
Lancaster High School baseball and softball teams will hit the field on Tuesday, March 5, with scrimmages against Class 3 New Kent. The varsity baseball and softball teams will host the Trojans at 5:30 p.m. at Dream Fields, 1385 Irvington Road, Kilmarnock. The junior varsity squads will travel for a 5:30 p.m. start at New Kent.
