The Lancaster High School class of 1964 held their 53rd reunion at Indian Creek Yacht & Country Club on September 9. There were 34 classmates in attendance, with David Reedy as a special guest, reported Joyce Taft.
A memorial table was set up to remember deceased classmates including Earl Baines, Lynn Gaskins, Norma George, William (Bill) George, Judy Balderson Hutchings, Frances Jenkins, Russell Naumann III, Douglas Ransone and Kenny Whittington.
Classmates in attendance were Nancy Anderson (Swanson), Bonnie Ausley (Aycock), Carolyn Benson (Whay), Leslie Jean Bowles (Talley) Cary Carter (Turpin), Jane Starr Chilton (Pate), Barbara Christopher (Fallin), Robert Conley and Arthur Franklin Conway.
Also Wyatt Cutler, Beulah Dawson (Hammock), Larry Dawson, Gene Dix, Jessie Dize, Roger Donaldson, Wayland Dunaway, Kathleen Elswick (Acors), David Flester, Drew Gulbranson, Virginia Harcum (Parks), Sue Kellum (Lake), Judy Kesterson (Baggett) and Faye Lewis (Smith).
Also, Joyce Oliver (Taft), Ronda Potter (Lachine), Linda Pritchett (Hammer), Betty Pulley (Snider), Karen Saunders (Frankenhoff), Gib Stevenson, Anne Marie Wigner (Jones), Cathy Winegar (Davenport), Joyce Winstead (Brown), Sallie Worman (Davis) and Bonnie Zahniser (Pearson).
It was agreed upon the next get-together will be a luncheon at noon December 7 at KC’s Crabs & Cues.
