The Lancaster High School Red Devils wrapped up a perfect regular season Monday, September 15, with an 11-stroke win over the Rappahannock Raiders at the Golden Eagle Golf Course. The Devils went unbeaten at 10-0 after claiming wins over the Essex Trojans and RHS last week.
Lancaster defeated the Raiders, 166-177, with Tyler Brent shooting a 39 on nine holes. Also scoring for the Devils were Isaac Hernandez and Braden George with a 42 each and Thomas Major, shooting a 43 in the number five spot. Alex Fulmer and Ty Makulowich also played for LHS, but their scores didn’t count in the low four.
Eli Preston shot a team low 42 for Rappahannock, while the Raiders number four Conner Stith shot a 43 for the team’s second low. Gus Sanford and Christopher Germaine had a 46 each to complete the scorecard. Amelia Sanford and Rob Townsend also played for RHS.
