Two Lancaster High School students experienced the satisfaction of hard work over the summer and shared their experiences with the school board on Monday, September 14.
Kamaryi Harding, who helped plan events with Kilmarnock community development coordinator Emilie Webster, was thankful for the opportunity to learn “what the workforce is really like. “As high school students, we’re constantly asked to think about our futures, what we want to do, where we want to go and what kind of careers we might be interested in. An internship gives us the opportunity to take those thoughts and turn them into real experiences,” she said.
Webster said this was the second year working with an intern and “they have been an amazing addition to….
