The Lady Devils finished eighth out of 17 teams and the LHS boys finished 12th out of 20 in the Charles City Track and Field Invitational last Saturday.
Potomac Senior High School won both the girls and boys meets. PSHS won five events and scored 140.5 points in the girls meet and won seven events for 139 points in the boys meet.
Maggie Walker was the runner-up in both meets with 113.5 points in the girl meet and 80.5 in the boys.
Lancaster scored 21 points in the girls meet and 23.5 in the boys meet.
Lancaster coaches Joanne Webb-Fary and Draper Washington field one of the largest combined track and field teams they’ve had in recent years with 45 competitors….
