A sophomore runner is racing through Lancaster High’s record books.
Hailey Smith has set five school records this season and in the process has already pre-qualified for all five events in the upcoming Class 1/2 state indoor track meet.
Smith, who already has a state outdoor championship to her credit, will represent the Red Devils in the 300, 500, 1000, 1600 and 3200 meter races at the state meet February 28-29.
