LHS wrestlers continue to improve

Lancaster’s wrestlers finished among the top four in weekend invitationals earlier in January and split against Mathews and Northumberland in a tri-meet in Claraville last week.

The Red Devils beat the host Indians but lost to Mathews at the Northumberland Tri on January 20.

Lancaster placed fourth out of 16 teams at Mathews, January 8, and finished third out of 10 teams at Franklin January 14-15.

At Mathews, Lancaster’s DJ Zeiler (138) and Tate Wilmore (285) went 3-0 each for gold and Austin O’Bier (106), Brendan Walker (170) and Zack Rhodes (182) each placed third for bronze.
