LHS wrestlers open home matches with a win and a loss

The Lancaster High School wrestling team split with King William and Northumberland in its home opener on December 7. 

After falling to King William, 42-31, the Red Devils rebounded to beat Northumberland, 48-24. 

The Devils senior class includes returners Ethan Parks (144), AP Pollard(157), Ewan Scott (165) and Hunter Sebra (150). 

Sebra and Ewan both posted 2-0 marks in last week’s home match. Also going 2-0 on the night are returning sophomores Ashby Allen (132) and Kaiden Wilson (157). 

Sophomores Evan Welsh (157) and River Diaz (144) both showed “immense potential….
