Virginia’s Li’l Ole Opry will celebrate this Thanksgiving time of year by presenting a night of uplifting gospel music at 8 p.m. Saturday, November 18, at Mathews High School Harry M. Ward auditorium, 9889 Buckley Hall Road, Mathews. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. The show will feature the house band, Shades of Country, and all of the Opry singers plus guest stars performing new Christian music as well as the traditional standards everyone loves.
From hymns like “When We All Get to Heaven” and “Standing on the Promises” to newer music by Third Day, Casting Crowns and Selah to silly songs by Ray Stevens, the music on this show will be a variety that is synonymous with the Opry.
