The Town of Kilmarnock will roll out Phase 1, “Open Air” Friday, May 15, at Town Centre Park, 150 North Main Street, Kilmarnock.
“While following guidelines set forth by the governor, I am super excited to allow small groups of people back into the park,” said Mayor Mae Umphlett.
“Open Air” will open Scotty’s Yard, walking paths, picnic tables and the bathrooms. Each area has a set of expectations and visitors are expected to practice social distancing with the maximum number of 10 or fewer people in any given area of the park.
Expectations can be found on kilmarnockva.com. People are asked to wear face masks and maintain a high level of sanitation while at the park. At this time due to high demand, the park cannot offer hand sanitizer, but the bathrooms will be open to maintain…
