Lions Club to conduct Operation Christmas Food Basket Saturday

The Lancaster County Lions Club will resume the Operation Christmas Food Basket project.

Suspended last year due to COVID-19, Operation Christmas Food Basket will be held from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, December 11, at Tri-Star Supermarket, 81 Irvington Road, Kilmarnock.

Lions at the door to Tri-Star will provide a list of suggested items for donors to purchase in the store while doing their own shopping, said food drive chairman Lion Dale Griggs.

Lions will accept the donations as the shoppers leave the store and then distribute the food to the needy….
