KILMARNOCK—Lloyd Dunlap Jackson of Kilmarnock died October 4, 2017.
Mr. Jackson was born April 6, 1921, in Garret County, Md., to the late Norval and Mary Jackson. The family moved to Fairmont, W.Va., where he grew up.
He began working for the railroad while a student at West Virginia State College. He served in the U.S. Army and eventually moved to Baltimore where he worked for various railroad companies including the B&O and Amtrak.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his two daughters, Jacqueline Jackson and Joy Jackson.
He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Esther Lee Jackson.
A funeral service was held October 12 at Campbell Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Interment with military honors followed at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, Kilmarnock.
