The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society (LVHS) will hold its annual meeting at 4 p.m. October 28 at the Lancaster Community Library, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock.
The guest speaker will be Robert Lumsden, author of the 2024 book, Edward Dale of Lancaster County Virginia: Burgess, Major, Cavalier, Clerk & Justice of Court, Gentleman, Neighbor, Husband & Father. The agenda also will include reports on LVHS activities, volunteer awards and board elections, reported executive director Karen Hart.
