Mardi Gras event funds are dispersed

The St. Mary’s Whitechapel Outreach Committee recently divided the proceeds from the 2025 Mardi Gras fundraiser among multiple local charities.

Before Lent last year, St. Mary’s Whitechapel Episcopal Church hosted its first ever Mardi Gras dinner and auction in Courtney Hall. With generous donations and bidding, the event raised over $8,000, reported Aleta Embrey.
