KILMARNOCK—Marian Winstead Blantz, 93, of Kilmarnock, the widow of James M. Robertson Jr. and Francis L. Blantz, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017.
She was a member of the Irvington Baptist Church, American Legion Post 86, Kilmarnock Garden Club, Lancaster Seniors Citizens Club and the Rebekah Lodge.
She is survived by four children, James M. Robertson III and his wife, Denise, of Irvington, Rosemary Thrift and her husband, Bobby, of Burgess, Bonnie Robertson of Irvington and Patricia Robey and her husband, Steve, of Northern Virginia; seven grandchildren, Robbie H. Thrift, Troy M. Thrift, Ashley M. Robertson, Heather L. Robertson, Nicholas M. Robey, Scott M. Robey and James M. Robertson IV; eight great-grandchildren, Laurel A. Thrift, Robert H. Thrift IV, Olivia M. Robertson, Jack M. Robertson, Perry M. Robey, Blake T. Robey, Trent E. Robey and Braxton M. Robey; and one great-great-grandson, Jackson Thrift.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 12, at Irvington Baptist Church with interment in the Irvington United Methodist Church cemetery. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at Irvington Baptist Church.
