Marilyn E. Blues

BALTIMORE, MD.—Marilyn Eleanor White-Miles Blue of Baltimore, Md., died  April 6, 2019.

She was born in Lively on June 25, 1940, to the late Robert Oley Miles and the late Mary Helena Aldridge.

Eleanor was raised by her grandparents, the late Ollie and Ethel White in Lively. She graduated from A.T. Wright High School in White Stone in 1958.

After graduation, she mored to Baltimore with her other family which included her mother and stepfather, Mary and John Aldridge.

After working miscellaneous jobs, Eleanor worked at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. She later moved to New York and worked at Kennedy Airport. She eventually returned to Baltimore where she worked at Bluecross/Blue Shield of Maryland for 32 years, retiring in 1999.

She was a member of Berea Temple Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by her son, Michael A. Edwards; stepchildren, Diane, Jackie, Gregory, Sandra, Anthony, Charmaine, Jerry, Danyell and Nichole; sisters, Theresa, Sandra, Mary Alice and Valerie; brother, Charles Miles; and 19 step-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jerome A. Blue; her first husband, Harvey Davis; brothers, Robert, George and Myron; and stepchildren, Marlene, Phil, Herbert, Tarsha and Jerry.

A wake and funeral were held Monday, April 20, at Bera Temple Seventh Day Adventist Church, Baltimore.
