COLONIAL BEACH—Marjorie “Margie” Dudley Wynn, 84, died August 4, 2018.
She was born February 26, 1934, in Westmoreland County. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Colonial Beach.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Eleanor Dudley; husband, Benny Wynn; stepsons, Clarence Wynn and Bennett Wynn; sister, Christine Water; and brother, Robert Dudley.
She retired from Charlottesville public schools as a cafeteria cook.
She is survived by her children Connie Smith of Newport News, Mabel Holliday of Ruckerville, Ronnie Marsh of Charlottesville and Melinda Carter of Charlottesville; stepson, Tyrone Clayton of Anderson, S.C.; sisters: Frances Holmes, Julia Mae Thompson and Joyce Blakey; brothers, Eugene Dudley, William Dudley and Benjamin Dudley; grandchildren, Waki Wynn, Tilik Wynn, Anthony Wynn, Shauna Smith, Kelly Rudd, Yulonda Wynn, Dominique Marsh, Brittany Marsh, Demetrice Wynn, Tyone Clayton, Jalisa Clayton; and great grandchildren.
A funeral was held August 9 at First Baptist Church, Colonial Beach. Interment followed at Historyland Memorial Park, King George.
