Former National Education Association (NEA) southeast regional director Denise Mazyck recently joined the Northumberland school board.
Mazyck is filling the District 3 seat vacated by Carl Perez, who moved out of the district he represented. Perez is currently running to represent his new region in District 2 on the Northumberland school board in this year’s ongoing election. Mazyck is also running in the ongoing election for the seat she is currently filling.
