Middlesex won a three-school swim meet at the Northern Neck Family YMCA in Kilmarnock last week.
The Chargers won nine individual events to beat Appomattox Regional Governor’s School (ARGS) and Lancaster.
The Red Devils’ Ella Posey was the runner-up in both the 50- and 100-yard freestyle events. She swam the 50 in 31.19 to finish just behind Middlesex High’s Ashtyn Franklin, who won the race in 30.09. Posey also tied for second in the 100 freestyle, touching the wall in unison with Middlesex High’s Karime Juarez in 1:14.74. Ella Hodges of Middlesex won that race in….
