The Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck (BCGNN), in cooperation with local nursing homes, Kilmarnock Baptist Church (KBC) and other churches, are working together on a local mission project.
They plan to install a bird feeder at the window of each resident of the Virginia Health Services Lancashire Convalescent & Rehabilitation Center and Commonwealth Senior Living at Kilmarnock.
Since COVID-19 has limited or canceled all visitors and residents spend most of their time isolated in their rooms, a bird feeder appears to be an easy way to provide some joy, said Linda Enders-Bailey
