The Morattico Waterfront Museum, 6584 Morattico Road, Morattico, will celebrate its 20th anniversary on opening day, May 4.
“Beginning at 11 a.m., there will be a commemorative ceremony to remember and acknowledge those dedicated volunteers who wanted to preserve the many facets of Morattico’s history,” said curator Tina Bustos. “The public is warmly welcomed to the museum in the historic and charming village of Morattico.”
Food will be available from noon-1 p.m. Bob Wilson will provide music from noon-4 p.m. The friends of Belle Isle State Park will share information about upcoming events at the park and Angie McNeal of Rocks to Gems and Crystals will be on site.
