The Smart Start for Success Youth Empowerment mentoring program at the Church of Deliverance in Lively will host a Mother, Daughter Tea Party at noon on September 3 at the White Stone Church of the Nazarene Family Life Center, 57 Whisk Drive, White Stone.
This is a semi formal affair for girls ages 7-19 and their mothers in the surrounding communities of Lancaster County, said co-chairman and event coordinator Ivy Conaway. The tea is aimed at promoting self-love, building healthy self-esteem and interpersonal skills.
