LANCASTER—A retired Norfolk judge is scheduled to act next week on three motions and several housekeeping matters related to a highly-publicized and controversial involuntary manslaughter case in Lancaster County.
According to Lancaster County Circuit Court Clerk Diane Mumford, John Randolph “Rand” Hooper of Richmond will appear before retired Judge Charles Poston at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, in Lancaster County Circuit Court.
However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the courtroom will be closed to the public.
Hooper is charged with aggravated involuntary manslaughter and failure to render aid in the death of his friend, Graham McCormick of Atlanta. McCormick’s body was found…
