Museum to host farming speakers

Two businessmen-farmers and growers will speak about their garden products and provide a tasting October 23 at the Mathews Museum, 200 Main Street, Mathews. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the program will begin at 6 p.m.

Christian Brown is owner of Mush Love in Mathews and specializes in growing mushrooms. He grows over a dozen types of mushrooms, including shiitakes, oysters, lions mane, chestnuts, Reishi and turkey tail.
