
IRVINGTON—Nancy Courtney Hall of Irvington passed away peacefully at her home October 2, 2020.
Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charlie; her mother and father, William and Edna Courtney; beloved granddaughter, Morgan Leigh Hall; and beloved grandson, Charles Brendan Hall.
Surviving are her two loving sons, Charlie Hall Jr. and wife, Niza Hall, of Hilton Head, S.C., and Steve Hall of White Stone; and her much loved grandchildren, Lauren Harman and husband, Daniel, Alina, Drew and Patrick Hall; and her adored great-grandchildren, Riley and Georgia Harman.
Born December 6, 1932, in Washington, D.C., she attended Eastern High School and enrolled in Radford University where she was a sister in ASA Sorority and graduated with a degree in education in 1954.
Nancy was a true Christian and a longtime member of White Stone Baptist Church where she was a trustee and member of the finance committee. Nancy was a member of Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club for over 40 years, where she was a competitive player in the ladies golf events. She was also a great bridge and mahjong player and had many friends who loved her.
Nancy was a fabulous, lovely and classy lady and her family will miss her forever.
