Nandua edges Lancaster, 3-2, in the final inning

Host Nandua scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh Tuesday, April 5, to get by Lancaster High School, 3-2, in varsity softball.

The Warriors broke a 2-2 tie in their last at-bat to hand the Lady Devils their fourth loss of the season. Lancaster is 5-4 and was scheduled to open Northern Neck District play this week.

The Lady Devils will travel to Essex today, April 14, and host Colonial Beach, April 19.
