KILMARNOCK—The Kilmarnock Police Department (KPD) will recognize National Night Out from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, at Town Centre Park, 150 North Main Street, Kilmarnock.
“Join neighbors and communities across the nation for National Night Out, an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live,” said community development coordinator Emilie Webster.
National Night Out will feature raffles, photos in a KPD car, a bouncy house, community organizations, first responders and music by StonesThrow.
Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions or just socialize with the members of the KPD, fire department, rescue squad and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
