New board members to help shape the future of the Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck

Four community leaders have recently joined the corporate board of the Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck (BGCNN).

Meanwhile, board member Jean Light has assumed the corporate board’s presidency, and a sixth community member, Richard LeBaron, has joined BGCNN’s Northumberland County Unit board, reported marketing assistant/youth development professional Tara Gill.

Light succeeds Rev. Dr. Linwood Blizzard III. She is a senior wealth management advisor and senior vice president at Chesapeake Wealth Management. She has been a member of Chesapeake’s team since 1981.

Light is a graduate of the American Bankers Association National Trust School at Emory University, Southeastern Trust School at Campbell University, Cannon Trust School, Cannon Graduate Trust School at the University of North Carolina and the Financial Planning program at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business. She is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association Executive Leadership program and the Center for Creative Leadership, Women’s Leadership Program.
