Students from Northumberland High School recently presented 15 laptop computers to the Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck at their new Northumberland Unit location.
The NHS students participate in the Virginia Student Training and Refurbishing (VA STAR) program under the direction of CTE coordinator Jay E. Lightfoot. VA STAR is a statewide program that teaches students to refurbish surplus computer hardware from government agencies and private companies. The refurbished computers are donated to….
