Lancaster lost its second straight Northern Neck District varsity volleyball match last Tuesday in four close sets to Northumberland.
The Lady Indians beat the Lady Devils, 3-1, with games of 25-22, 25-22, 20-25 and 25-17.
The two teams traded points throughout the first two sets with NHS pulling away 24-18 in the first game before Lancaster rallied for four points to force NHS to take a time out and regroup.
After falling by two games, Lancaster picked up a win in the third to force a fourth game in the best of five series.
