Nick Wohleking hits grand slam, Red Devils beat Northampton 15-0

Spencer Crittenden went three innings on the mound for the win and Nick Wohleking hit a grand slam last Tuesday in Lancaster’s 15-0 rout of Northampton in varsity baseball.

Crittenden struck out five, allowed four hits and didn’t walk a batter to record the win for LHS, which improves to 3-0 in non-district play.

Jayden Chapman pitched one and 2/3 innings with one hit allowed and a walk and Matthew Kleinfelter closed with six strikeouts, two walks and one allowed hit in two and 1/3 innings.

“Again, it was a strong performance by our pitching staff,” said LHS coach Welby Saunders.
